Pictures?

I was taking pictures today and I thought I’d give you guys something. ANYTHING. I’ve been really, really inactive and I’m sorry. Here’s proof that I’m still doing things- just less things. I still love you. ❤

News:

Hi there, I’m not dead, just under motivated. But, I’ve been making things again like:

And a blue peace sign macrame bracelet that I haven’t posted yet.

I’ve been doing a lot with my new job lately, it requires me, for the time being, to build full webpages and test them extensively. So, I guess I’ve made like 3 websites. Essentially from scratch. But, I’m back, guys. I promise. I’ll be posting pictures and some random little jewelry crafts. I think I’ll play with resin again, since I have some ideas.

I would crochet some scarves or something, but it’s the summer and I don’t have the patience for working with lace weight yarn.

I’ve been drawing again

As you can see, I’ve been keeping busy. I keep forgetting that my name is Wynn of “ALL” trades, and drawing and photography would count as trades. Although I’ve strayed from the original concept of this blog. But it’s expanded, and I suppose that’s a good thing.

Tomorrow, I’ll be out with my best friend, but I should be making a post about something in the next week.~

New on the shop!

Medium Sized Owl Toy- $10

New Additions to the small Owls-$6

As far as crafting stuff goes, today I bought some White Puff balls for when I make bunny rabbits- soon. I got my hands on a hot glue gun and I’m pleasantly surprised. They really do make things easier.

I think I have enough owls now, so I may move to another project and make some different animals. 😀

Bigger Owl pattern

Since THIS PATTERN Is insanely easy to manage, I’m going to attempt to write a pattern for a bigger owl. Using the same basic idea, but increasing the stitches all around. This pattern was written as I was crocheting it, as much to keep my attention on counting and to give myself a workable pattern [as well as, write my own pattern *gasp*!]

Gauge is unimportant, as well as hook size. Bigger Hook=Bigger Stitches=Bigger Owl

I used an I hook with worsted weight yarn

Step One; Make a Magic Loop and DC 12 times into it
Step Two; DC Twice into EACH DC around [24 DC]
Three; *1 DC, 2DC in the next stitch* repeat around [36 DC]
Four-Eight; DC for whole round [36DC]
Nine-Twelve; [Change color -optional-] DC for whole round
Thirteen; *1 DC, DC2Tog* around [24 DC]
14-16 DC around [24 DC]
Seventeen; *1 DC, DC2Tog* [12 DC]
Eighteen-Nineteen; DC Around [12 DC]
*Stuff the bird*

Pinch the two layers together and Crochet through them both for; 1 DC, 1HDC, 3 Sl st, 1 HDC, 1 DC [ears]

WINGS [make 2]
One; make a slip knot, chain 4
Row One; DC in second and last chain, ch 2
Row two; DC in each [4] ch 2
Row Three; DC across [4 dc] ch 2
Row four; 5 DC [continue until wide enough]

Optional; Take another color of yarn and SC around the main color. Make two rounds with it, embellish as you wish.

For the face, just go wild.

The first picture is the actual appearance of the owl currently. The second one, my room mate put Golf Tees for eyes. I liked the placement, so when I add eyes I’ll remove those. They make him look crazy and kind of creepy.

Fun Fur Faux Pas

Look at this fuzzy beast. This…Was an experiment. I wanted to see how my backup plan with fun fur worked. I used it with Mint Blue to make it easy for me to deal with. It’s crazy redonk to crochet with JUST Fun fur.

I think this will suffice though.

Owl Challenge; Teeny Tiny Owl Keychain

Challenge Part One; Tiny Owl

Position on List: 7

Today’s project was a series of tiny Owls. The first one, was mine. Worked in Mint Blue and Bone. After my boyfriend and my room mate saw the owl they both decided that they would like one. I got the colors Charcoal Heather and Grey Heather approved by both of them and started to work.

Definitely a bit of trial and error. To figure out how I wanted to do the faces and wings. The pattern , for me left some room to play with. One has a cape, because my boyfriend likes Batman and he thought the colors were suitable. I’m going to be making a cape for the other gray one, too.

They seem confident that these will be successful in my shop, so I’m hoping. I’ll be whipping up a lot of these in different color schemes with different faces and stuff. I may try to do more elaborate wings and stripes and stuff. Once I get better adjusted to working with Amigurumi.

Definitely not a bad start.

it is complete! kind of

There you go! I finished that wrist cuff-band thing. I put a place for like, a button closure or perhaps a tie. Which is what those loops are for, on either end.

Also, I’ve had that bone headband done for a while- but I just now managed to close it so it’s functional. Tomorrow, once I figure if I’m going to use a button or whatever on the band, I’ll probably make more. In different colors, or maybe not- I don’t know.

I have lots of yarn to make stuff out of- I just have to find stuff to make. I’ve also started a baby blanket with that pastel yarn that I made that headwrap with. Just because I really don’t like that yarn, now that I think about it, so I’ll just use it all up on a baby blanket. Since it actually looks cute for that.
